A European parliamentary delegation is due to arrive in the island tomorrow.
The aim of the visit is to further the cooperation with Sri Lanka, and assess the current ground situation in Sri Lanka.
According to the European High Commission in Sri Lanka the delegation is due to make their stay in the island until the 5th of May.
The delegation will comprise of 5 heads out of which 3 are EU Parliamentarians.
As part of their itinerary talks would be held with senior Sri Lankan government officials, while development projects initiated in the North & East courtesy of EU aid will also be inspected.
