President Mahinda Rajapaksa has advised to make Sri Lanka a transit point for

foreign air liners.

According to the presidential media unit the presidents comments had come during a meeting which was held at temple trees yesterday.

Accordingly, a group of officials representing Sri Lankan air lines had been advised to look into this.

Meanwhile the president had advised to offer further concession to pilgrims flying to Dambadiwa on board the Mihin Lanka carrier.
