The bodies of the three Sri Lankans who were killed in a fire in Busan, Korea will be brought to Sri Lanka today.
According to the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau the bodies will arrive on board flight number GT615 at 2.25 this afternoon and GT307 at midnight.
The three young men died in a fire at a karaoke club in Busan which also killed 6 others and wounded 20.
The deceased are residents of Mahinyanganaya, Deniyaya and Gonapola.
Meanwhile, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Kuwait and Sri Lanka yesterday.
The MOU will focus on the development of several sectors including the exchange of workforce between the two nations and the enhancement of job related training.
While 10,535 house-maids have left for Kuwait within the first four months of this year, 8113 of them are house-keepers.
34,237 workers left for Kuwait within the year 2011.
Minister of Foreign Employment Promotion and Welfare Dilan Perera expressed these views regarding the MOU that was signed with the Labour Minister of Kuwait yesterday.
