It had been learnt that Tamil National Alliance Parliamentarian Suresh Premachandran is due to deliver a speech on `Contemporary issues in post-war Sri Lanka’ at a seminar organized by Norway’s Labour party.

Suresh Premachandran will address the seminar in association with Norway’s former Minister & special envoy to Sri Lanka, Eric Solheim on the 15th of May at the auditorium of the Norwegian Parliament.

The event is expected to be presided over by Deputy Speaker of the Norwegian Parliament.

When inquired by our news team Minister Premachandran confirmed his attendance regarding the venue & noted that he was hoping to enlighten the Norwegian political community on post war Sri Lanka.

Suresh Premachandran will be the first Tamil Parliamentarian to address the Norwegian Parliament, since the war came to an end in Sri Lanka.
