The Government Nursing Officers' Association alleges that 45% of the applicants for the Grade I examination have failed due to the obstinate decisions taken by the health authorities.

Chairman of the association Saman Ratnapriya stated that the pass mark which was previous set at 50 was suddenly raised to 60.

We spoke to Deputy Minister of Health Lalith Dissanayaka regarding the allegations levelled by the health services trade unions.
