President Mahinda Rajapaksa says that now Sri Lanka has been made a
country where all races could live united.
The President said that currently the country had entered the development path.
President Mahinda Rajapaksa said so while meeting a group of Sri
Lankans in Bangkok, Thailand yesterday.
Barriers to investment have been removed and relevant regulations
relaxed for this in Sri Lanka.
While requesting that these facilities be used, the President pointed
out that certain websites disfigure the country's true image.
Wherever they be Sri Lankans should act with proper understanding
about this situation.
Pointing out that all people, irrespective of racial differences,
should love the country, attested that a wholesome country should be
created for the benefit of the future generation.
Meanwhile bilateral discussions are due to be held between President
Mahinda Rajapaksa and Thai Premier.
Meanwhile, Dr. Abbas Araghchi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs is currently on a visit to Sri Lanka as a Special Envoy Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President of Iran.
During his visit to Sri Lanka, he delivered a Letter of Invitation from the President of Iran to President of Sri Lanka to attend the 16th Summit of the Heads of State and Government of the Non-Aligned Movement, Tehran, from 30th to 31st August, 2012.
