Police Headquarters says that a reward of one million rupees will be given to anyone who gives accurate information about the burglary of archaeological objects from the national museum.
Several archaeological objects were stolen from the Colombo Museum on March 16th.
The CID launched an extensive probe into this on IGP's instructions.
The Police Headquarters says that accordingly much information has come to light with regard to archaeological objects.
However the Police Department said that public cooperation was necessary for speedily identifying the suspects who had carried out the burglary.
The Police Media Office said that accordingly the IGP has decided to give a reward of one million rupees to a person who furnishes correct information about this.
