Employees of the Kalutara SLTB Depot boycotting work from May 29th over non-receipt of salary from April have been informed by a letter from their manager to report for work today.

The letter adds that if they do not thus turn up, action will be taken considering them to have vacated their positions.

However, in response the All Island Transport Employees' Union Secretary Sepala Liyanage said that this is an arbitrary act.
