President claims in London that Sri Lanka will remain free from the grasp of terrorism.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa has asserted that no power would be permitted to

have Sri Lanka Clutched in terrorism yet again.

President Rajapaksa stated that it was his intention to take the country to its heights on behalf of the countries future generation.

The president also noted that the required sacrifices to attain this goal would be

met regardless of deterrents.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa's comments came during a meeting with supporters in London's Hyde Park.

According to the presidential media unit LTTE zealots had attempted to heckle the president's visit to England.

Moreover in related developments British Security Units had advised President Mahinda Rajapaksa to remain within the quarters of his hotel room due to potential security risks.

Inspite of such warnings the president had ventured out of his hotel quarters and thanked fellow Sri Lankan patriots.

The Presidents presence is said to have deflated the protest which had been launched by LTTE lobbyists.
