The chief veterinarian at the Dehiwala National Zoological Gardens who was arrested in connection with the theft of three animal skulls has been remanded until the 12th of this month.
The suspect was arrested and produced before the Mount Lavinia magistrate yesterday.
One other person was also arrested previously on suspicion of being involved in the theft.
The veterinarian was arrested as a result of investigations conducted and facts revealed by this suspect.
