Bowsers distribute water in Matale

Drinking water has become a scarcity in certain parts of the island due to the dry weather conditions experienced in these areas.

 

It was reported that resident of the Wilgamuwa area in Matale do not have sufficient drinking water due to the drought there.

 

The Chairman of the Wilgamuwa Pradeshiya Sabha stated that measures have therefore been taken to distribute drinking water in bowsers to the worst affected areas.
