The All Ceylon Private Bus Owners' Union Federation states that according to the national policy bus fares need to be amended by the 31st of July.
Chairman of the Federation Anjana Priyanjith stated that the key bus associations are already holding discussions regarding this matter.
However according to chairman of the Lanka Private Bus Owners' Association Gemunu Wijeratne a decision on bus fare revisions would be reached upon considering the current expenses on the industry as collective.
