President Mahinda Rajapaksa who is currently in Brazil to attend the Rio plus 20 Summit in Brazil is scheduled to address the summit today as the 5th state leader.

According to the Presidential Secretariat, President Mahinda Rajapakse is slated to meet several state leaders during his itinerary.

Meanwhile, the President is scheduled to hold talks with Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, Nepali Premier Babu Ram Bathari, Bhutanese Premier Lyonchhen Jigmi Thinley and the President of Chile Sebastian Pinera.

The United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development the ' Rio plus 20 summit' is currently underway in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
