Subsequent to the human elephant conflict constant reports emerged regarding crocodile attacks on humans.

However at present the frequency of such attacks has declined while the public are constantly urged to remain vigilant.

It was recently proposed that sanctuaries be established for the conservation of

these beasts.

In a bid to ascertain the latest developments regarding the plight of this issue

our news team contacted the Co-Chairman of the Amphibian Specialist group for Iran & Sri Lanka Anslem De Silva.
