A proposal has been submitted to name two female MPs for the chief ministerial candidature for the North Central and Sabaragamuwa provincial council elections.
Accordingly, Chandrani Bandara has been nominated for the North Central Province while Thalatha Atukorala has been nominated for the Sabaragamuwa Province.
Meanwhile, former opposition leader of the Eastern Province Daya Gamage has been nominated for the Eastern Provincial Council.
