The Muslim Congress is scheduled to take a final decision today with
regard to the manner of contesting at the election for the Provincial
Councils that have been dissolved.
Party General Secretary MP Hasan Ali said that a discussion was held
yesterday as well with regard to the subject.
The General Secretary said that at that discussion it was not possible
to arrive at a final decision with regard to the manner of contesting
at the Provincial Council elections and that accordingly the
party's supreme council would meet again this forenoon and hold
Meanwhile TNA MP M. A. Sumantiran said that their group of MPs would
meet and decide how they would contest at the Provincial Council
