Minister's relatives on nomination lists despite ban.

Political sources states that a large number of persons related to SLFP ministers have submitted their nominations to the parties review board despite its decision not to entertain nominations from relatives of current SLFP office bearers.

 

Our news team was notified that several spouses as well as children of several ministers currently holding office in the SLFP had submitted their nominations to the party's nomination board.

 

Meanwhile our news team obtained the views of SLFP's Eastern Province Nomination Board Chairman Minister Anura Priyadharshana Yapa.
