Sri Lanka's US 1 billion dollar Sovereign Bond issue oversubscribed 10.5 times

Issuing a statement the Central Bank states that the country has successfully launched and priced a 1 billion 10-year International Sovereign Bond offering at a fixed-rate yield of 5.875%.

 

The issue was oversubscribed 10.5 times at 10.5 billion US dollars with orders from 425 accounts with the tighter yield reflects the improved confidence the international investors have placed in the sovereign bond issuance of Sri Lanka.
