Thursday, 19 July 2012 - 07:56 AM

The cricketing stars from India touched down last afternoon and got down to the nets immediately and after a session star attraction Mahendra Singh Dhoni faced the media yesterday

Associated with Dhoni was Sri Lanka’s master batsman and captain par excellence Mahela Jayawardena who had a successful run against the Pakistanis.

Mahela Jayawardena promised exciting cricket in the games to be played and said that this series would be a good tune up for the World Cup Twenty20 to be played soon.

Dhoni said that this has been the longest lay off from the game that the Indian team has experienced and said that it was good because they could concentrate on other aspects of cricket.
