More officers deployed to Kahawaththa-Kotakethana police post

The Police Headquarters has taken steps to increase the number of police officers attached to the police post located in the Kahawaththa-Kotakethana area, where two recent murders occurred.

 

According to police media spokesperson SP Ajith Rohana 5 more additional police officers will be deployed to the police post located in the Kotakethana area.

 

At present 15 police officers have been deployed at this police post, while the police post its self is located around 50 metres away from the location of the murder site where a mother and daughter were burnt to death.

 

However no arrests have been made with concern to this incident, while investigations in this regard are still underway.
