The Criminal Investigation Department informed court today that explicit content was found in the hard-drives of the computers seized from the Sri Lanka Mirror office.
The Sri Lanka Mirror office was raided after claims that the website published stories tarnishing the government.
The case pertaining to this matter was taken up for hearing before the additional magistrate Prasanna Alwis this morning.
The computers seized from the office have been handed over to the IT Unit of the Colombo University for further investigations.
The CID informed courts that a report of the current findings has been forwarded to them.
The Sri Lanka X News and Sri Lanka Mirror offices were raided by the CID recently and 9 suspects were arrested.
