Sri Lankans visiting Thailand has increased considerably

Affluence among the Sri Lankans, especially due to the steep growth of business activities after the end of three decades of terrorism, tourist outflow from Sri Lanka has also increased similar to the inflow of tourists to the country.

The Asia-Europe Business Forum points that according to official data from Thailand, visitors from Sri Lanka grew by 20.85% to 32,878 in the first half of this year.

The Forum says that percentage growth wise it is one of the highest, apart from Sri Lanka being a bigger market.
