Final rehearsal for Opening of Olympic Games
Thursday, 26 July 2012 - 02:15 PM

Olympic organisers have apologised to the North Korean women's football team after their images were shown on a screen beside a South Korean flag.

Kick-off at Glasgow's Hampden Park on the first day of the Games' sporting action was delayed for about an hour.

The venue is hosting two matches later as the men's football competition - which also features Team GB v Senegal at Old Trafford - gets under way.

The penultimate day of the torch relay sees the flame visit Buckingham Palace.

Meanwhile, a crowd of about 60,000 people turned up at the Olympic Stadium in Stratford, east London, for the final rehearsal ahead of the Games' opening ceremony on Friday.
