Deputy chairman of a pradeshiya sabha arrested in Kataragama

The deputy chairman of the Galle - Balapitiya pradeshiya sabha has been arrested for behaving in an unruly manner under the influence of alcohol yesterday around 10pm along with another suspect.

 

The other suspect has been identified as a brother in law of the arrested deputy chairman.

 

According to the police media unit, both these individuals have been arrested for causing a stir under the influence of alcohol.
