Two Iranian Nationals who attempted to smuggle in narcotics worth 300 million rupees have been arrested by the Air Port Customs’ Drug Enforcement Division today.

Our air port news correspondent reported that these two individuals arrived in the island at around 8.10am from a flight originating from Doha.

A large number of containers containing hair gel and shaving foam had been located in their luggage and the drugs had been concealed within them.

The confiscated narcotics comprised of 2 kilograms of Methamphetamines.
