The forest of Pattipola - Idalgashinna catches fire again. 200 acres destroyed

Nuwara Eliya District Secretary D. G. G.  Kumarasiri states that another fire has broken out in the Pattipola – Idalgashinna region.

 

He further stated that over 200 acres have been destroyed due to the fire.

 

A fire that took place in the same region previously caused delays to the Udarata railway’s activites

 

However the fire was put out during the course of day yesterday, but had spread once again today and the Army and the police have been deployed to control the blaze.
