Election violence reduces while election laws are being violated

Election monitoring organisations are reporting a reduction in election violence in view of the up coming provincial council elections.

 

The executive director of the PAFFERAL Rohana Hettiarachchi stated that they had received only 3 complaints regarding election violence.

 

He also stated that the violation of election rules and regulations continues to take place.
