The Jathika Sewaka Sangamaya of the Ceylon Petroleum Cooperations asserts that the fuel quality testing methods at the CPC are obsolete.

Secretary of the CPC's JSS Ananda Palitha speaking to our news team noted that the fuel testing system which was introduced to the country in 2003 has not been updated until present.

Palitha also noted that the technical committees overlooking these operations

have failed to convene over an extensive period.

Meanwhile our news team made inquiries in this regard from a senior official at the CPC, who condoned these charges.
