Passport compulsory for Sri Lankans to apply for the jobs in Korea

Ministry of Foreign Employment Promotion has decided to make the passport compulsory to issue applications for the employment in Korea.

The employment in Korea is handled by the state owned Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau and the candidates have to pass the Korean language proficiency examination before getting selected for the jobs.

The applicants for the Korean language examination will have to submit the passports to obtain the application.
