Leader of the Indian People’s Party Dr. Subramaniyam Swami has ruled out an ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka but has stated instead that there was an impending question concerning the countries majority & minority.
Dr. Swami's comments came during the 2012 defence summit which is currently underway in Colombo under the theme towards a "towards lasting peace & stability".
Meanwhile Dr. Swami also commented on India's stance regarding Sri Lanka
during the recently held United Nations Human Rights Council Session in Geneva.
Moreover Leader of the Indian People’s Party Dr. Subramaniyam Swami
also asserted that if the term "Eelam" was used during the TESO summit,
there was a chance of it being cancelled.
Meanwhile Leader of the New Leftist Front Dr. Wickramabahu Karunarathna
was able to procure a visa to attend the TESO Summit in India.

Furthermore Leader of the Democratic People's Front Mano Ganeshan
has also been extended an invitation to attend the TESO Summit organised by DMK Patriarch M. Karunanidhi. However Ganeshan noted that he would not be attending the summit.
Moreover the Tamil National Alliance has also declined the invitation extended towards it According to TNA Parliamentarian Suresh Premachandra who gave no exact cause for his party's refusal.
Meanwhile at a media briefing held in Colombo today Organiser of the Jathika Hela Urumaya Nishantha Sri Warnasinghe expressed these views concerning the TESO Summit.
