The Tamil Eelam Supporters Organisation summit scheduled to be held in Tamilnadu has suffered a major blow.
The summit scheduled to be held tomorrow at the YMCA hall in Royapettah.
The Tamilnadu state government presenting facts at the Chennai High courts stated that the hall can accommodate approximately 2000 individuals and that about 200,000 individuals are scheduled to attend the summit according to the summit organizers.
The Tamilnadu state government further stated that there is a hospital in front of the Hall and if such a large number of people converge near the hall it would disrupt day to day life of the residents of the area and that due to this reason the summit cannot be held in Chennai.
After considering facts the High Court Judges ruled that the Chennai police commissioner should decide whether or not the summit should be held in Chennai.
