It has been decided at the TESO Conference held in Cheenai in India that a vote should be taken through the UN with regard to the Sri Lankan Tamil people's right to live including the right for self-determination.
Indian Media reports say that in addition 14 more decisions have been taken at the TESO conference.
Amongst these decisions is that the UN should create a committee that could mete out punishment with regard to the war that ended in Sri Lanka in 2009.
Another is that an Indian navy camp should be set up at the Mandapam island located within the Indian sea limits.
Meanwhile New LSSP leader Dr. Wickremabahu Karunaratna participating in the conference representing Sri Lanka also joined the speakers who addressed the conference yesterday.
During his address the New LSSP leader said that the Sri Lankan Government should accept the LLRC Report.
