The Tamil National Alliance states that it is pleased with the decisions drawn at the TESO summit.
A decision was reached during yesterday's summit where it was determined that a referendum should be held via the United Nations for the perseverance of decision making rights & ancillary civil liberties effecting Sri Lankan Tamils.
14 other resolutions were also agreed upon during yesterday's summit including the establishment of an ad-hoc committee appointed under the UN's jurisdiction
which will investigate and reprimand those behind the alleged atrocities believed to have occurred during the final stages of the 3 decade long war.
TNA Parliamentarian Selvam Adekkalanada speaking to our news team noted that decisions had been unanimously agreed upon during the TESO Summit yesterday in the best interest of securing the rights of Sri Lankan Tamils.
The TNA is of the view that DMK Patriarch M. Karunanidhi should enact the summits policies instead of limiting them to mere statements.
