Proposal to breathe life into Eelamist Agenda resurfaces

President Mahinda Rajapaksa states that Eelamist factions are attempting to

Breach the peace which has been attained in the country and were in the process of disrupting the trust established between ethnicities.

 

Speaking during the colours presentation ceremony of the Gamunu watch

held at the Kuruwita army camp, president Rajapaksa noted that no patriot would permit foreign or domestic criticism of his or her own mother land.

 

The president speaking further noted that any & all attempts to resuscitate the notion of an Eelamist state should be thoroughly denounced.

 

 

Meanwhile the president en route to the Kuruwita army camp also visited the Sabaragamuwa provincial council.

 

The president who also marked his presence at the provincial secretaries meeting stressed that it was the prime obligation of government servants to serve the public.
