4 girls flee Children's home in Rangala.

Four girls who had been detained at the Rangala 'Jeevana Kanda' Chidren's Home, have fled from the Children's Home.

Police Media Spokesman's office said that the police had by now launched investigations with regard to these students who had fled the Children's Home on 18th instant.

Reports say that these girls who had been accommodated at the Children's home on court orders and under Probation officers' supervision, have fled the home without informing the Children's Home Administrator.

These children belong 13, 15 and 18 year age groups. These child detainees are residents of Naawalapitiya, Watteruma and Mahawela.
