UNP opposes the "Divi Neguma" Act

The UNP has expressed its opposition to the Divi Neguma act that has been presented to parliament.

 

Speaking at a press conference held today in Colombo, UNP General Secretary MP Tissa Attanayaka stated that this act has enabled the IMF to curtail the Samurdhi benefits through this act.
