United National Party Parliamentarian Mangala Samaraweera states that there is no need to prohibit the New Leftist Front from the aligned opposition.
UNP Western Provincial Councillor Srinath Perera during a recent statement noted that the leader of the New samasamaja party Dr. Wickramabahu Karunarathna who participated in the recently held TESO summit should be barred from all activities pertaining to the aligned opposition.
However during a media briefing convened by the UNP yesterday, MP Mangala Samaraweera made the following observations concerning Srinath Perera's recent statement.
Meanwhile UNP MP Dr. Jayalath Jayawardhana declines a recent statement made by Dr. Wickramabahu Karunarathna in which he went on to say that Dr. Jayalath Jayawardana was left despondent since he was not extended an invitation by the Leader of the new samasamaja party to accompany him during TESO Summit.
Dr. Wickramabahu Karunarathna expressing his views to our news team noted that Dr. Jayalath Jayawardhana was eagerly anticipating to mark his presence during the TESO summit.
