Police establish hotline over Japan visa racket

Police Media Spokesperson SSP Ajith Rohana states that information has come to light concerning a large scale racket in which individuals are being smuggled over to Japan.

SSP Ajith Rohhana speaking to our news team noted that the prime suspect behind the racket had been arrested yesterday in the Paliyagoda area.

Around 9 persons were repatriated to Sri Lanka within the last two month for having possessed counterfeit visas.

The police media spokesperson requests of the public to contact the Criminal Investigations Department in case of any information regarding the racket on the following phone number.
