Pradeep Sanjaya wins the first ever Paralympics Medal for SL

Pradeep Sanjaya of Sri Lanka won the first ever Paralympics Medal in Paralympics history for Sri Lanka yesterday.

Pradeep Participated in the 400 meters T46 finals, at the Olympics stadium and won the Bronze Medal for the island.

Austrian Matzinger Gunther won the Gold Medal with the timing of 48.45 seconds and Brazilian Nascimento Yohansson won the silver with the timing of 48.21 seconds

Pradeep Sanjaya ended the event with the timing of 49.28 seconds, and it was read as a new Regional record.
