The district and national rankings of the 2011 A/Level examination have been released by now .
Education Ministry secretary Gotabhaya Jayaratne told our news team that the district and national rankings could be checked by visiting the website www.donets.lk.
Similarly the secretary also said that all students who have faced the crisis as a result of the 'z' score would receive university admission.
The A/L examination district and national rankings have thus been released in accordance with an order the Supreme Court had given to the UGC and the Examinations Commissioner last Monday.
A group of 400 students who had sat the A/L examination last year had filed a petition before the Supreme Court saying that their fundamental rights had been violated as a result of the 'Z' score crisis.
Last Monday when this petition was taken up for consideration the UGC had submitted to court four methods for university admission.
