A clash has taken place between Wildlife officials and a group of Indigenous people.

This was when the Officials had gone to take in to custody a fire arm that was in the possession of a indigenous person in Dambana.

Police Media Spokesperson SSP Ajith Rohana stated that 2 officers of the Wildlife Office and an Indigenous community member were injured in the clash.
