Following President Mahinda Rajapakse’s official visit to India, he met with his Indian counterpart Pranab Mukerjee at the Rashrapathi Bawan today in order to carry out discussions.
Meanwhile, the Lankan president is also scheduled to meet Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmogan Singh.
Moreover, the president is also due to place the foundation stone for the Saanchi Buddhist University as part of his itinerary.

spurred by Chief Secretary of the MDMK party Waiko.
