The foot walk launched by the Federation of University Teachers Association which commenced its journey from Galle on the 24th of this month as well as the walk launched by the Inter University Students Federation which commenced its journey on the 25th of this month from Peradeniya converged in Colombo this evening
Both groups which converged at the Lipton Circus were joined by United National Party activists on their way to Borella.
