The Sri Lanka Muslim Congress has expressed its consent towards the centre acquiring powers vested within provincial councils.

UNP MP Lakshman Kiriella expressing his views during a media briefing which was convened by the party in Colombo today charged that SLMC MP's had voted in favour of the bill at the Eastern Provincial council.
