The countries apex court today decided to hear the Fundamental Rights Petition which was filed by the dancer who was caught sporting a cobra in her possession at a night club in Collepitty recently.
The FRP was filed against the custody of the cobra being entrusted to the Dehiwala Zoological gardens.
The petition which was called up before a three judge panel headed by
Justice Nimal Gamini Amarathunga concluded that the petition would be re-called before courts on the 28th of March next year.
The dancer was placed under arrest for the possession of a cobra while at a night club in Colpitty.
In her petition the dancer hopes to move court to regain custody of the cobra.
