Malini Fonseka who had resigned from the post of MP is scheduled to
take her oaths as an MP again today before Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa.

While Malini Fonseka who had served as a UPFA national list MP
resigned from the MP position on the 24th, she subsequently withdrew her
resignation letter due to President Mahinda Rajapaksa not accepting it.

Meanwhile the Parliamentary Secretary General had officially accepted Malini
Fonseka's resignation.

Malini Fonseka's name was gazetted after the UPFA general secretary
sent her name to the Election Commissioner again and accordingly Malini Fonseka is scheduled to take her oath before the speaker again today.

The speaker is scheduled to make a special statement before parliament today regarding the petition submitted to the Supreme Court against the draft Divi Neguma Bill through a parliamentary official without forwarding it direct to
the Speaker.

Meanwhile the draft Appropriation Bill is scheduled to be presented in
parliament today and its second reading will take place on 8th of November.

While cabinet approval was granted to the 2013 financial year draft
Appropriation Bill recently, next year's total expenditure will be 2, 520 billion rupees.

While next year's total income would be 1, 280 billion rupees the budget deficit will be 1, 240 billion rupees.
