UNP MP states that life would be laid on the line to take part in 18th summit

United National Party parliamentarian Palitha Thewarapperuma states that irrespective of the disciplinary measures implemented by the party, he would definitively participate in the summit which has been organised for the 18th of this month by the United Bikku Front.

Speaking further Thewarapperuma noted that several other UNP MP's were ready to participate in the summit alongside him.

He also noted that as of present, the participation of UNP Deputy Leader Sajith

Premadasa was uncertain.

The Working Committee of the UNP adopted a resolution recently which prevents party members from attending a summit which has been slated for the 18th of this month by the United Bikkhu Front.
