An article carried by Asia Tribune states that DMK Treasurer M.K. Stalin and Parliamentary party leader T.R. Baalu have left for the US to hand over the resolutions adopted at the TESO conference which was held in Chennai on the 12th of August to the United Nations.
Karunanidhi had approved the draft of the resolutions at the Tamil Ealam Supporters' Organisation.
A once defunct organisation, TESO was revived by Karunanidhi.
Stalin and Baalu will also participate in a Tamil conference due to be held in London on the 6th of November.
The TESO conference had among others, demanded that the Indian government take all necessary steps to ensure a total change of environment in Sri Lanka and a life of equality and peace to Sri Lankan Tamils, by redeeming their political, economic and cultural rights.
