Reports say that UNHRC Commissioner General Navaneedanpillai will  visit Sri Lanka next January.

This was disclosed when Tamil Nadu D.M.K treasurer M. K. Stalin met Navaneedanpillai in Geneva.

DMK representatives had gone to Geneva recently in connection with the handing over of the report of the Indian TESO Conference.

Indian reports said that  several issues with regard to Sri Lanka were discussed by D.M.K. and Navaneedanpillai on that occasion.

The UNHRC Commissioner General had told the DMK representatives that during her Sri Lankan tour, attention would be paid on the manner  the LLRC recommendations were implemented and the manner the IDPs were resettled.
