The spokesperson for the United Nations General Secretary stated that a report is scheduled to be handed over to UN General Secretary Ban Ki Moon regarding the activities of the UN in Sri Lanka during war times.

During the daily press briefing held at the UN headquarters in New York City, the spokesperson for the UN General Secretary Martin Neserky stated that the General Secretary will be studying the report and then publishing it.

It is stated that this report will contain the activities and shortcomings of the UN during the war in Sri Lanka.
